As a first generation immigrant, she's experienced firsthand the transformative power of property ownership and building generational wealth. An avid traveler, yogi, and kickboxer, Ani infuses her work with dynamic energy and determination. She is also deeply passionate about parenting and neurodiversity, and strives to make a positive impact in and out of the real estate world.
A Summa Cum Laude graduate of the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, Ani's career journey spans finance, strategy, and product marketing. Ani has held numerous leadership positions in high-growth technology companies, helping them scale from early stage through successful IPO. While Ani brings with her a wealth of knowledge from her professional roles, she is most proud of the friendships forged and mentorship she’s provided and received along the way.
One inspiring travel memory?
It's hard to pick only 1! I've had the privilege to visit over 30 countries and my favorite memories are always about being in nature. The first memory that comes to mind is looking out in the distance from Montserat, which is a monastery build high in the mountains outside of Barcelona. We got there early in the morning and watched as the clouds and fog slowly lifted over the horizon. It truly took my breath away.
What trait do you hope your kids take from you?
Courage. Courage to speak up when all others are quite. Courage to be true to their authentic selves when the peer pressure is on. Courage to pursue happiness even if it means starting over.
What’s the biggest takeaway you’ve shared with your mentees?
It's really depended on the mentee and where they were in their journey. But one piece of advice that I've given often is to double down on their strengths and zone of genius. I have seen the most amazing transformations happen the moment mentees refocus their energy from shoring up weaknesses to leveraging their superpowers to be extraordinary.
