What’s your favorite spot for date night in San Francisco?

Piccino in Dogpatch. There’s something special about fresh Italian cuisine paired with a welcoming, community feel. The warm wood tones, natural light, and communal tables create a beautiful ambiance. The food is incredible, the staff is always welcoming, and it feels like a little taste of Healdsburg right here in the city.

Most insightful or enlightening travel memory?

Hiking Acatenango Volcano in Guatemala – eight miles of steep incline, with a 5,253-foot elevation gain. We camped overnight and made the final push to the summit before sunrise. Along the way, I battled food poisoning, altitude sickness, and a sleepless night in near-freezing temperatures. I had wanted to quit many times. Reaching the summit at sunrise—just in time to witness a neighboring volcano erupt—was breathtaking and unforgettable. The experience taught me that my biggest obstacle is often my own mind—and if I can push past it, I can accomplish anything.
