My husband accepted a new job in January of this year and relocated from Southern CA to San Francisco in March while I stayed back with our twins who were finishing up school. Bran worked with us to secure my husband temporary executive housing until we could sell our home in SoCal and buy something up in San Francisco. She was under a time pressure (less than a week) to quickly find him temporary housing that would meet our needs as a family as well. She was able to locate a condo with a shorter lease that was walking distance to his work. Once we entered escrow on the sale of our home in SoCal, Bran spent additional time to get to know us, our family, our needs and the specifications of what we were looking for in terms of our new home in San Francisco. There were so many moving parts by the time we sold our home with my husband’s lease ending in 45 days, and we were blown away with the properties she identified within hours of understanding our specifications. Despite the tough market and high interest rates, Bran and her team at Willowmar worked tirelessly to explore all options to get us the best deal possible. Through calculated bids that were backed up by data and frequent testing of the market, we had a really great sale in spite of the headwinds. When I say that we explored all options, that is not an understatement. We started with a high asking price and lowered it gradually as we learned more about market conditions. During that journey, we considered rental options, relisting in the spring, etc. Through it all, Bran was patient and very receptive to our requests. At no time was a sale pushed and Bran always wanted to hear our thoughts and inclinations before offering her opinions so as to not anchor us on a decision that was not in our interest.
