Although Phoebe Syn’s official job title may be real estate agent, she considers herself to be more of a matchmaker who helps people find those must-haves when shopping for a new home — while respecting their budget. Walnut Creek and the Bay Area are great places to live and work because of the abundant recreational and professional opportunities, and it’s for these reasons that she chose to call it home.

A self-motivated professional with a degree in business and economics, she is driven by results and prioritizes open communication along with building solid, enduring relationships in both her career and personal life. Her passion for real estate can be traced back to when she was a kid and would often persuade her parents to attend open houses with her.

 

Phoebe is an advocate for the elderly and homeless populations. When she isn’t helping people in need by delivering them a meal or groceries, she enjoys baking, rock climbing, and completing do-it-yourself projects.

 

 

My favorite park in the East Bay is Heather Farms in Walnut Creek! Everything you need is at your fingertips. There are walking trails, a dog park, multiple playgrounds, and sports fields. It’s the ideal setting for a picnic with friends or throwing a ball with your dog.

 

Ideal date-night in Walnut Creek?
Ideal date night in the East Bay consists of grabbing a drink near home at Lita or Tiki Tom’s followed by a comedy show and dinner at the Alameda Comedy Club. To end the night, we’ll grab ice cream at Lottie’s before heading home.

 

My favorite easy dinner recipe is a salmon and rice bowl. For the salmon cut it into cubes and marinate it in kewpie mayo, chili crunch oil, siracha and a little bit of soy sauce. Let that sit for 20 minutes to an hour. I air fry mine for about 10 minutes at 375 degrees or until the salmon is fully cooked. For veggies I like to sauté green beans with crushed garlic and a dash of fish sauce. It sounds simple but it’s so good! Put the green beans and salmon over a bowl of rice and add any topping that sound good (nori strips, sesame seeds, etc.)
